We are pleased to launch the awards to recognise and celebrate architectural excellence in Hertfordshire, culminating in a ceremony at the historic Hatfield House where all entries will be presented.

The timings are as follows:

27th July - Entry forms available (see below)

2nd October - Last day for receipt of entries

Mid-October 2022 - Judging to take place
17th November 2022 - Online exhibition via the HAA website

 

 

The criteria are:

• The project must be in Hertfordshire and have been completed between January 2021 and July 2022.

• The project architect for Categories 1-5 must be an HAA Member (which includes salaried members within practices). For Category 6 Open we welcome entries from RIBA Members/Chartered Practices based outside Hertfordshire who have completed a project in the county.

 

The Categories are:

1. Small Works up to £250,000

2. Conservation and Restoration

3. Commercial/Commercial Housing

4. Community/Civic

5. Domestic

6. Open. For non HAA Members and non HAA Practices
    

Submission Requirements:
Please complete the form, including payment, and attach the following documents to support the entry:

• Site Location map

• Site/Block plan

• Design Statement (1000 characters max)

• List of consultants / contractors

• Floor Plans, Elevations and Sections

• Maximum of 10 images to illustrate the project (separate image files - not embedded into documents)

Save the files as: HAA 2022 Awards_[practice name]_[category]_[property].

 

Entry Fees:

£30 for one entry, £50 for two entries and £70 for three entries. (Inclusive of VAT)

A project may be entered for more than one category.
