The HAA acts as a focus for communications between the RIBA and the local membership.  All RIBA Members and student members in Hertfordshire are automatically members of the HAA.

The HAA also liaises with the University of Hertfordshire Architecture Department and Awards Student Prizes each year at the end of year show.
